HOT PEPPER

HYBRID # 1
This tall and vigorous hybrid bears a profusion (av.344) of pungent green fruits (deep-red on ripening) over
a considerable long period. Fruits medium -sized (6.62 cm.) and weigh 7.72 gm on an average. A good source
of Vitamin C (138.19 mg.) and Capsacian (0.83 %). Shows moderate resistance to mosaic, leaf curl virus
and wet-rot. Resistant to die-back disease.

HYBRID # 2
E arly - medium maturing,vigorous hybrid with upright setting and in clusters of 5-7,extremely pungent fruits.
Deep-green fruits (scarlet-red on ripening ) are 6-7 cm. long,1.1 cm. in diameter and mature uniformly within
a cluster. Plants being small, permit dense planting.

AGNIVAAN Jwala Type
A well adapted, early high yielding type suitable for irrigated conditions. Strong dwarf plants set in profusion,
long fruits of medium-green colour(crimson on ripening), 12.0 cm. long and diameter of over 1.0 cm. and excellent quality.

AGNIDEV
A n extra-ordinary dual purpose cross capable of outyielding others even under fair-stress conditions.Strong,
well branched, compact plants produce solitary,pendent and abundant concentrated fruits. Thin walled fruit
have less than 1.0 cm. diameter and length of 6.5 to 7.0 cm. with excellent deep green colour and very high pungency. Highly recommended for dehydration since ripen fruits attain bright crimson colour.

AGNIPATH
A pendent, solitary bearing hybrid with long shelf-life. Plants are strong,tall and well branched with good
tropical adaptation. Smooth fruit with tight-skin texture and medium-thick wall; measure approximately
10.0 cm. in length and over 1.6 cm. diameter coupled with high pungency. Maturity medium.Recommended
for dehydration and fresh-market. A heavy yielder.

EGG PLANT / BRINJAL Large - round

SHIVA
T his early, prolific hybrid has dwarf bushy plant. Fruits are attractive purplish-black in colour and green
calyx, round, medium sized; average fruit weigh 220-260 gm. with excellent flavoured pulp and few small
seeds. The plants naturally produce abundance of fruits; harvesting at early stage is recommended.

MAHADEVA
A n improvement over hybrid 'shiva'. plants are strong and self-supporting . fruits globish round,
purplish-black with green calyx; fewer seeds and on an average weigh 300 gm. A good cropper.

EGG PLANT / BRINJAL Long

GREEN LONG
T he plants of this variety are tall, vigorous upright and bear fruits well off the ground. Uniform, long
cylindrical shiny apple-green fruits are borne early and in quick succession in bunches of 2-3. Fruits have excellent flavour and bear fewer slow maturing seeds. A good cropper.

HYBRID MUKTAKESHI
A n early, high yielding hybrid with vigorous and upright plant. Thick stem enables fruits to be borne well
off the ground. Fruits are firm, glossy deep purple-black in colour with attractive green calyx, large sized with polar diameter of 18 cm. and equitorial diameter of 7 cm., oblongish shaped fruits weigh 330 gm. on an
average. Good texture and excellent flavoured pulp with small seed devoid of bitter principles are quality attributes. Harvest fruits early and continuously over a long period.

HYBRID - 1
F ruits are cylindrical in shape(good edible stage 19-20 cm.), uniform, very attarctive shiny purple-black
colour. Vigorous, sturdy plant bears fruits well off the ground.

BRINJAL KOKILA
E arly, high yielding, moderate aphid tolerant, white fly and leaf curl tolerant variety. Erect, tall plant habit with
medium internodes. Thick stem with compact habit enables this hybrid to bear fruits well off the ground.
About 20-25 fruits harvestable per plant. Average fruit 20 cm. long and 3.5-4 cm. dia. Fruits of good texture , tender flesh with fewer seeds and deep purple-black colour contrasted with attractive green calyx makes this variety an excellent choice.

VARDAAN
P lants upright and self-supporting with very high yield . A cluster bearing type . Fruits are attractive purplish-crimson in color and green calyx with a few thickend spines . Average fruits weigh 40-50gm.
Should be harvested at a tender stage .

NISHA
O ne of our already popular variety. Plants uprignt and strong . A very early Maturing hybrid which bears abundance of attractive bluish-purple fruits With purplish calyx. Fruits medium sized and borne in clusters. Harvest commences in 45-50 days after plantation . An early heavy yielder.

CHOO-CHOO
T his prolific yielder has been developed for stuffing and frying purposes This early variety bears profusion
of small elongated (measuring 7cm. X 4cm.) Glossy purple-back fruits with contrasting bright green calyx in
clusters of 3-5. The fruits must be picked early. Individual plant produces more than 50-60 fruits and continuously over a considerably long period.

NISHA IMPROVED (GREEN CALYX)
T his variety is an improvement over our popular variety 'Nisha'. The new cross has "green calyx"
(Nisha having purplish), is more adapted to monsoon and more flexibility for the size of fruit at harvest
stage as the seeds in this variety are slow maturing.

KAMDHENU (CBRH-10)
K amdhenu is an extra early variety of compact plant habit having fleshy spines and short internodes. Small fruits (av. 50 gm) of most attractive purple colour contrasted by white strips and imposing apple-green
succulent calyx with thickened thorns. Fruits have rich flavour. As plants naturally produce abundance
of fruits, harvesting at early young stage (approx. at 6-7 cm. polar length) is recommended as this variety
bears seeds early. A prolific cropper

SANYOG
T he plants of this variety are spreading type yet the fruits are borne well Off the ground . Fruits are borne in
clusters, dark blackish-crimson in colour with contrasting green calyx with few succulent spines makes the
fruits most attractive. The fruits have very good flavoured pulp with small seeds devoid of bitter principles. Average furit weighs 45-55 gm. An extremely high yielding variety.

OKRA

AADHUNIK
A adhunik is our frontline hybrid where no compromise has been made on fruit quality and low incidence
of Yellow Vein Mosaic (YVM). The pods are tender, glossy deep-green, silky and five-angled. Low crude
fibre and high total sugars, iron and phosphorous content makes this variety an excellent choice for nutrition conscious. A good yielder.

PANCHAALI
A vigorous and early hybrid has good resistance to Yellow Vein Mosaic (YVM). Fruiting begins from
4th-5th node and first picking starts in 40-45 days. Pods are gloosy, green and five angled. Harvesting of
pods at immature stage (usually forefinger size) would fetch good market premium as also better harvest.

RADISH

SHRAVANI
A hybrid inspired by the popular open-pollinated Barkha Bahar. The development ensures no premature bolting, thus giving a flexibility of earlier sowing. The leaves being glabrous make this hybrid an excellent cooking material. Roots have excellent white skin with no neck-colour, tender and juicy texture with
mellowed Taste. Approximately 35-40 cm. long and 4.5-5 cm. Diameter. Quite tolerant to Pithiness and
forking. Uniform early tapering roots maturing in 40-45 days.
